I have been seeing Dr Hayden Stewart for over a decade and have always been incredibly happy with the service he provides, and the skill and care he takes with all of my dental work. He has a genuine interest in his patients, and always makes sure that I'm comfortable and informed every step of the way. His new space at Teneriffe is amazing - beautifully designed, and so calm and inviting. The staff are all so welcoming and kind (thanks also to Grace) and the reception and rooms are beautiful and luxurious - far from your ‘typical’ dentist.

The lifespan of your night guard depends on your individual habits and how much pressure you put on your teeth at night. For most people, a soft night guard (ideal for light grinding or clenching) typically lasts anywhere from 6 months up to 2 years. If you’re a heavier grinder, a hard night guard—crafted from durable, high-quality materials—can last 3 to 5 years, and sometimes even longer with excellent care.
To get the most from your night guard, we recommend cleaning it daily with a dissolvable orthodontic cleanser tablet (easily found at chemists and supermarkets) and storing it in a protective case when not in use. Keep it away from extreme heat to prevent warping. If you ever notice your guard starting to feel loose, show signs of wear, or just not fitting like it used to, it’s time for a replacement.
